Dr. Minke Binnerts serves as Vice President of Project Leadership and Management at Kivu Bioscience, bringing over 25 years of experience in early and late-stage drug development. She has advanced small molecule and biologic oncology programs from discovery through IND submission, Phase 1 trials, and clinical proof of concept. Most recently, she was a Program Team Leader at Gritstone bio, where she led the development of both personalized and off-the-shelf cancer vaccines.

Prior to Gritstone, Dr. Binnerts held project and portfolio leadership roles at AbbVie Oncology Early Development, Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, and Intrexon. She began her career at Nuvelo, where she led drug discovery research focused on cancer signaling pathways. Dr. Binnerts holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
